About the Organizer
For over 30 years, Herb Burklund has been providing exhibit sales, marketing, and export support in international markets. As president of Scherago International, he led development of the international component of AACC Clinical Lab Expo, served as board member and president of the Biomedical Marketing Association (BMA) and for 13 years, chaired the AACC/Scherago International Market Briefing.
In recognition of his international contributions, in 2018 he was the recipient of President Obama’s “E” AWARD for export assistance.
For the past decade, BURKLUND-IVD LLC, has been associated with Informa Markets in the development of the Medlab brand in MENA and other international locations. Geographic IVD markets covered are ASEAN, MENA and Africa.
Over the past several decades, Herb Burklund has personally conducted business related to healthcare media and exhibitions in the United Arab Emirates, China, Singapore, India and 10 European countries.
